Testing and Integration

Testing and Integration Testing and Integration (T&I) is a new sub-division for the Pi-oneers. This team is made up of students from each sub-division. We meet during dinner because this is a secondary team for all of the students. T&I is in charge of making sure all aspects of the robot work cohesively. This includes choosing the location of components, so they are in optimal positions, and so there are no conflicts or miscommunications between sub-divisions. If one component fails due to interference or vulnerability, the robot won’t work properly. This team also ensures that the robot is within the weight budget and keeps the engineering notebook. We hope it will help improve our overall technical design. Tips for Rookies: Don't be afraid to speak up! There are no bad ideas. Make sure to listen to others, because everybody will be an expert in their particular division. Also, careful planning and decision-making is key for a good design. Leader: John H.
